Happy New
Year 2019 was
quite busy although there are fewer photos than usual. The web site was down for nearly 2 months,
then restored with a new look and feel. |

Flying was a mixed bag this
year. Here is a photo from a rare mid-
winter flight to Montreal. |
|
|
Also in mid-winter, Mumtaz visits
Montreal, she meets Yasmin and has a great time with the nieces and nephew. Inaya seems to have missed this photo of Yasmin, Ayaan
and Layla. |

Eddie finally visits the Sun
n’ Fun Airshow in Lakeland, Florida.
It was fun but nothing really matches the Oshkosh Air Show in late
July. |
|
This year, the Port
Dalhousie Duck Race was cancelled due to high water levels in Lake Ontario,
so we did the natural thing and drove to the Big Apple bakery on Highway
401. Next year the Duck Race is
cancelled due to construction. |

A new tradition is an early
Spring trip to the Lake Erie shore. This year we went to Sandhills Park. The speck on the left near the top of the
sand hill is Eddie. |

Our late July trip was to
Quebec City. Always nostalgic since
Eddie and Mumtaz met in Quebec City.
Andree and Jean hosted us for a fabulous evening. We had such a good time that we didn’t
think to take photos. Mumtaz managed
to catch the sun streaming through the breaks in the cloud as we fly over the
north shore of the St. Lawrence River. |
Cape Breton Island |
Mike and Audrey host us in Halifax again,
what a fabulous time we had. Vacation Photos; this year a
drive to Atlantic Canada via the U.S with stops in Concord, Saint John,
Halifax, Cape Breton, Fredericton and Montreal. |
Fredericton |
Our grand plans for an off-year
trip to Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day were cancelled, Sam broke her finger
quite seriously; luckily her recovery is complete. Watch for news of
Groundhog Day 2020. We visited Felicia and Bob
in Arlington, Virginia, next visit is coming very early in the New Year. |
|
Naheed and Nadia are married in
early November Cindy visits from Calgary;
she helps us with the design details of our home renovation which happened in
November. We are thrilled with the
results |
|
In September, Sam and Trevor
travel to Prince Edward Island via a flight to Moncton. They enjoyed the trip but had to batten
down for a hurricane that hit PEI hard. |
