January was a very complicated month this year … Mumtaz’s birthday happens early in the month but the possible dates didn’t work well. Mumtaz was committed to helping out in Montreal for most of the month and I was standing by most of the month waiting for a weather window to ferry an airplane with a new engine. Sam, Mumtaz and I held a mini celebration on her way out of town. The calendar favoured a Groundhog Day long weekend so we unified the celebration similar to last year. The last week of January featured the worst snow fall in years, just in time for me to drive to Montreal to collect Mumtaz, which was accomplished with split second timing and a good measure of luck too.
