In addition to talking like a pirate, celebrations include a spaghetti dinner prior to which we don colanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the photo below for mid September photos; only one of them actually relates to Talk Like a Pirate Day, I will let you discover which one it is. Other photos are from the pier at Port Dalhousie; the pier was reopened last Spring after a  3 year rehabilitation; I walk on the pier 4-5 times a week.
