This vacation was a driving trip.<\/p>\n

Sam started ahead on a trip to New York with her friends.<\/p>\n

We moved on to Killington, Vermont, highly underrated in the summer, you will find excellent accommodation outside ski season and the resort experience is excellent.<\/p>\n

Next we travelled to Lake Placid via the ferry from Burlington, Vermont.  We actually stayed in Saranac Lake; unlike Killington, Lake Placid has done a fantastic job of marketing itself as a summer destination. It has become expensive and congested.  Don’t miss it though, there is a good reason for its popularity.<\/p>\n
