I head to Toronto to spend the day with Sam and Trevor; at the end of the day Mumtaz arrives from Vancouver.

This is a very unusual photos post in that there are a lot of photos of me in it.

We travel to the Big Apple Bakery about an hour and half east of Toronto; you can’t miss it because of the giant apple visible from Highway 401.  The pies are spectacular but the owners have really tried to create an experience out of a visit to the facility.  Particularly if you are travelling with children, do not miss a chance to break your trip up with a visit to the Big Apple.

I use the opportunity to check on Sam and Trevor’s snakes; Rosie has really slowed down, she is full into old age now; JB seems to be making steady progress; and the new arrival, Lucy is very cute indeed and will definitely out pace JB’s development.
