Flying has been on hiatus since last June and there are some changes. I’m set to go with CGPVV an excellent Cirrus SR22. I expect to have access to a Diamond DA42 beginning in September. I’ll be surprised if that gets under way before the Spring. It was challenging to organize the check out work in November, it will be more difficult in December. The Cirrus SR22 is especially popular, in the event of trouble, you can deploy a whole airplane parachute to descend safely and the plane is quite fast, capable of 170knots cruise, even higher at high altitude.
