Usually we travel in the last weekend of July coincident with the Oshkosh Air Show. This year we postponed to mid August. Our usual vacation at the end of August is postponed until Autumn.

The mid August trip was by car to Ottawa, not everything worked out as planned but it was a great time nonetheless and we celebrated our wedding anniversary with Sam and Trevor.

If you search the blog, you will see we are quite fond of visiting Ottawa and you will find lots of typical Ottawa photos. This photos from this trip are less typical.

The complete 407 toll road now makes travel to Ottawa via the Highway 7 corridor practical and great for something different.
