On September 19, we celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day; perhaps the quirkiest holiday in the calendar. In addition to talking like a pirate, celebrations include a spaghetti dinner prior to which we don colanders.

Other photos are from the pier at Port Dalhousie; the pier was reopened last Spring after a 3 year rehabilitation; I walk on the pier 4-5 times a week. We hike frequently at the Malcolmson Eco Park in East St. Catharines, you will see some photos from there as well.
