This is the first blog post devoted to 30/April, Halfoween Eve. This is actually the 3rd name for the April 30 celebration, the previous, International Jazz Day, is still valid. For many years including my current corporation, April 30 has been the fiscal year end, hence, the need to celebrate the date. Halfoween Eve is exactly 6 months from/to Halloween, so it is ideal.

The observance is to watch a horror movie and the cuisine is popcorn. Here are a couple of photos from my ritual preparation of the popcorn.
