We had a great celebration on Pi Day this year.

This year was unusual in that we had two pie suppliers and they were both essentially in our neighborhood. I had heard of the Niagara Food Company, the pies are delivered piping hot and were excellent. Preston Pies has been a fixture of our neighborhood since we arrived; it is across from Sam’s High School; amazing that we had never been inside. They specialize in savoury pies but you can order apple pies for delivery at noon the next day. We ordered beef pie for dinner and it was wonderful.
