WARNING! Tech talk ahead.

Some time ago, Google and other search engines began tagging web sites without an SSL/TLS certificate as dangerous. This was more a nuisance than anything else, most users learned to blast past the warning messages. I tried to install a certificate a while ago but there was some problem, finally it is in, https://abelfamily.ca works as advertised.

PhP has been updated. A ridiculously easy procedure using CPanel; should have managed that long ago.

I noticed that abelfamily.ca was being tagged by Norton as a malicious site. This probably dates back to a year ago when the site was maliciously hijacked. I applied to Norton to fix this and it seems as if they did it within 48 hours.

I’m expecting that all the issues associated with navigating to the site are resolved. Please let me know if you experience any further issues.
