Tomorrow is Groundhog Day. Luckily we only travel on even numbered years, usually to Wiarton, so the fact that all Groundhog festivals have been closed to the public is less of an issue. To use a very poor pun, it is sad that Groundhog Day 2021 is a shadow of its potential this year.

There will be a online feed from Punxsutawney beginning at 6:30am and a feed from Wiarton which is a bit slipperier to figure out but I would imagine it will start at 7am.

Under the circumstances, I will not nominate a guest groundhog this year … we will go with Wiarton Willie’s prediction.
