After 3 grim Halloweens past, with great delight, we return to traditional celebrations with some small amendments.

Due to scheduling conflicts we attended the Rocky Horror Picture Show on the Friday previous to Halloween rather than the early show on Halloween proper. For the first time, Sam was not part of the cast and participated as a member of the audience. That said, as the first time that she attended since achieving her PhD, this was acknowledged by the cast as well my upcoming birthday which usually gets acknowledged every 5 years or so. We quite enjoyed the performance, there was quite a shortage of experts in the audience but everyone was enthusiastic leading to an excellent return to the tradition of attending the RHPS performance on Halloween.
